Senior Software Engineer (Frontend)

The Role

As a Senior Frontend Engineer at Pomerium, you will play a crucial role in building and maintaining the user interface for our core product. You will collaborate closely with designers to create and evolve our branded React component library, ensuring a consistent and high-quality user experience across our applications. You will also be responsible for maintaining and improving our frontend stack, incorporating best practices and staying up-to-date with the latest technologies.

What You'll Do

• Collaborate with designers to develop and maintain a branded React component library.

• Build and maintain React-based Single Page Applications (SPAs).

• Implement and analyze A/B tests and feature flags to optimize user experience.

• Contribute to improving SaaS onboarding experiences.

• Write and maintain automated regression tests.

• Provide frontend development expertise and support to other engineers.

• Contribute to the evolution of our frontend stack, incorporating best practices and new technologies.

What We're Looking For

• Experience utilizing component libraries like Material UI or Shadcn.

• Proven ability to develop and deploy React-based SPAs.

• Experience building and testing for accessible components and pages.

• Experience with A/B testing and feature flag implementation.

• Experience using product analytics events to capture user actions to inform product improvements.

• Proficiency in writing unit, component, and end to end tests.

• Excellent collaboration and communication skills.

• Experience working within a distributed team

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Playwright

• Experience building and maintaining component libraries.
